HISTORY
The company was founded by a local legend
Valentine started off as a teenager playing guitar and played for many years in hotels, banquets, and made his money as a musician. In the late 80s he started Dj'n. Dubbed (at the time) Vancouvers Best Dj for keeping a dance floor full with always the best dance hits from the 50s to 90s. Valentine was so in demand he decided in 1993 to start Maximum Beat Dj. In the search for others to take up in his footsteps he has trained dozens of DJs across Vancouver. He expanded his reach in the early 90s by becoming one of the first hosts to bring KARAOKE to the mix. In 2003 he trained his nephew Daniel who would later take over Maximum Beat Dj.
Following his uncles retirement, Daniel had a huge responsibility to carry the torch and make Maximum Beat Dj into the company his uncle Valentine envisioned it to be. So from that moment, "Dj Vancouver" was born. We have brought on a whole new staff : Disc Jockeys, Musicians, Emcees, Dancers, Singers, Karaoke Hosts, Sound & Light Technicians to create an Audio Video Production unlike anything else seen in Vancouver.
